Kırklareli
Located in the northwest of Turkey, Kırklareli is Turkey’s gateway to the West, bordering Bulgaria with its fertile soil and industrial organisations. Kırklareli is one of the top ten cities in Turkey in terms of social life, culture and economy. It is a safe, peaceful and calm city with its cosmopolitan and tolerant population structure, which is composed of predominantly Balkan immigrants. Kırklareli is the oldest agricultural settlement in Europe. The city, which has 7000 years history, hosted Thracian, Ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantium and Ottoman civilizations throughout the history. As one of the favourite, developing cities of the Balkan’s, Kırklareli has an important potential because it is located on the European highway which links European countries to Turkey, it has industrial regions which provide many employment opportunities, it is close to Istanbul and there are daily bus services to Balkan countries.
